Ticket conundrums

I was told of a trick by a travel agent employed by travel agents when booking vast numbers of train tickets and that too from the irctc website.
That of first putting money in the 'wallet' apparently there is something called 'wallet' on that website and perhaps one can use Paytm for it and once there is money in the 'wallet' it gets considerably easier to browse, open tabs and make bookings on the train website.
Again! It could be an urban legend but I heard it straight from the devils mouth.
