Hey ho, it's the allergy season..yay!!
It all began with a bit of balcony clean up. I was casually dusting about the place, cleaning flower pots and washing the winter dust off the floors when tufts of microscopic dust wafted upwards in little wisps of malicious intents and I breathed in and that very moment I could feel the unwanted entry of foreign substances that my system didn't much like.
My face itched and I was epileptic in my itchy fits as I scratched at a phantom chafing sensation around my mouth.
It was unduly uncomfortable for a few moments after which it passed and I went about my day.
Come night, in fact midnight and I woke up feeling thirsty and dear oh dear, I felt a tiny needle like tinge of pain in my throat as I swallowed water.
This wasn't right! No it can't be.
I spent the rest of the night worried I might fall sick and woke up feeling the same slight ache in my throat which soon assuaged as I drank lemon water, where the water was hotter than warm and lemon abundant in its citric hit.
Right, so I'm cured then, and it was while donning my workout clothing that I realized that I was feeling oddly cold.
I mean yes, is pretty cold in the house but this was a different feeling, and a bit of light stretching informed me that I was indeed far from feeling in the pink.
A ghostly ache hovers over my body and the odd itching sensation came hurtling back when I stepped out in the balcony again to water plants.
The air seems dispersed with floating bits of cotton, almost thread like little agents that disperse seeds and what not, instrumental in propagation and often times inducing allergic reactions.
My only hope is for it to pass without much consequence, for I do not wish to break my long streak of good health and immunity because if I succumb to this idiocy, I know I will be miserable for a few days.
