Ahh coffee cake.
How I love the whole idea of coffee cake..that is to say both as a cake encompassing coffee flavours as well as cakes meant to be had with coffee, and is it strange that just this morning I was contemplating making a coffee cake (one without the coffee element but meant to partake with coffee)
And in fact was just about amassing ingredients for a delicious simple cake and wondering whether I should click pictures for the blog or make two (one for my neighbours) or just forgo with either and make one..
Perhaps do both?
I've been thinking of using cardamom flavours for this particular one, and it's just a sort of experiment, but one that I'm willing to try.
Mmmm..coffee cake.
